We are proud to present for sale this highly adaptable 27m Landing craft.
Built in 1968, this vessel was extensively refitted in 2005 and was most recently dry docked for special survey in 2021.
An Open deck space of 5x17m and maximum cargo capacity of 80t means that this vessel is suitable for a variety of cargoes whilst a retractable boarding ramp forward allows the carriage of Ro-Ro cargoes. This also makes the vessel highly suited to operating in remote areas with little infrastructure. Under the current owners, the vessel has been used frequently to supply rural communities and isolated transport projects around Mainland Scotland and the Scottish isles, cargoes including HGV cargoes.
A deck crane with a maximum load of 3380kg at 6m and a maximum reach of 12m also enhances the capabilities of this vessel to serve in areas where gearless vessels might not be able to operate. Additionally there are two capstan winches.
Berths for 3 persons and significant safety equipment allows for longer missions.
